Over the past few years, legislative changes at significant additional cost positively affected student-athletes, but led to budgetary increases:
o rising tuition rates
o cost of attendance
o nutrition
o transportation
1876 Athletic Foundation is a Proud Sponsor of NO Script: ON THE HILL: This documentary follows the compelling journey of HBCU football players at Prairie View A&M University as they navigate the challenges of everyday life on and off the field. Witness the highs and lows of these athletes as they balance academics, relationships, and the pursuit of their dreams amidst the unique culture of Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Through intimate interviews and competitive game footage, the film explores themes of resilience, brotherhood, and the enduring legacy of HBCU football.
